Auwal Tafoki, the Kaduna State Labour Party chairman, released a statement asserting that Usman’s emergence is both illegal and unconstitutional.
He expressed concerns that the appointment lacks legitimacy, given that it was made during a meeting convened by Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
Tafoki further criticised the decision, labelling it a waste of time and resources. He stated that the party’s National Working Committee, led by Barrister Julius Abure, shares this perspective, indicating a broader dissent within the party regarding Usman’s leadership.
