A decade after the announcement of the Federal Medical Centre as his legacy project for the Kwara Central Senatorial District, former Senate President Bukola Saraki finds himself under scrutiny as the facility remains incomplete.
Elelu Ayoola, in a recent post on her X handle, raised concerns about the delayed project, questioning if funds were diverted.
In the social media post, Ayoola highlighted the stagnation of the Federal Medical Centre, a project Saraki claimed to have facilitated during his tenure.
Despite the passing of ten years, the facility intended to benefit Kwara Central Senatorial District reportedly shows little progress, prompting questions about the allocation and utilization of funds.
She drew attention to the disparity between Saraki’s legacy project and the achievements of Femi Gbajabiamila, who served as Speaker for the same four years.
According to her, Gbajabiamila, during his tenure, successfully commissioned several projects in Lagos State, leading to a notable contrast in the completion of initiatives between the two leaders.
She wrote:

Kwarans have continued to Google search what they benefited for having a Senate President from the state for 4years.
