LASUSTECH Admission 2025

LASUSTECH Admission 2025 is now in full swing, and for thousands of aspiring students, the process may seem daunting.

Thankfully, this comprehensive step-by-step guide will make the journey less overwhelming and far more manageable.

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), located in Ikorodu, is renowned for fostering innovation.

As it prepares to admit a new batch for the 2025/2026 academic year, the university has rolled out a structured process to ensure fairness and merit-based selection.

The journey begins with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Applicants must select LASUSTECH as their first choice and score at least 195.

However, some departments may demand higher scores due to competitive entry requirements.

Candidates must also have five credit passes in relevant O’level subjects (WAEC or NECO), earned in no more than two sittings.

Next comes the LASUSTECH Post-UTME, conducted online. A screening fee of N10,000 applies, and candidates must upload their results and passport photographs through the university portal.

The portal opened on 29 July 2025 and will close on Sunday, 31 August 2025.

Applicants from Lagos State must also complete the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE), a compulsory step for those seeking admission under the indigene quota. Though it boosts chances, SOVE does not guarantee admission.

Once these hurdles are cleared, LASUSTECH releases admission lists via the JAMB CAPS and its official portal. Admitted students must accept their offers and pay an acceptance fee without delay.

The final stage is physical verification at the LASUSTECH campus. Students must present their JAMB result slips, O’level certificates, birth and indigene certificates, 16 passport photos, and receipts.

LASUSTECH has increased its capacity to 3,000 students, admitting over 2,000 last session from a pool of 16,000 candidates across 36 programmes in five colleges.

To succeed in the LASUSTECH Admission 2025 process, prospective students should frequently visit the university’s website and social platforms.

Early preparation, documentation, and reaching out to current students or the admissions office are powerful strategies for a successful application.
