The Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Kashim Shettima’s choice of outfit for the Nigerian Bar Association conference in Lagos on Monday has generated quite a number of reactions, and Nigerian youths have even started a challenge dubbed ShettimaChallenge across various social media platforms.

However, Festus Keyamo, the presidential spokesperson of the Tinubu-Shettima 2023 campaign, has waded in defense of his principal.

Keyamo took to his social media page to post photos of him replicating Shettima’s attire, passing the message that it’s no big deal and there are more severe issues Nigerian youths should pay attention to.

He wrote, “Now, since they think the issues of Nigeria are three buttons, a pair of sneakers and a long tie, let’s help make them the real issues!”
