Loeries Awards 2025 to celebrate bold creative excellence across Africa and the Middle East, spotlighting innovation in brand communications
In full force next month, Loeries Awards 2025 is set to return, bringing together Africa and the Middle East’s top creative minds in Cape Town for a vibrant week of inspiration, recognition, and boundary-pushing ideas.

Taking place from 5 to 10 October, the Loeries Creative Week will unfold across key venues in Cape Town, culminating in two prestigious awards nights.
Now in its 47th year, the Loeries Awards 2025 continues to stand as the region’s highest accolade for creativity in advertising and brand communication.
With a staggering 2,784 entries from 13 countries, the event reflects a growing appetite for innovation and excellence.
The introduction of four new categories—Comedic Impact, New Launch Campaign, Sonic Branding, and Marketing Impact Award—reaffirms the Loeries’ commitment to evolving with the creative landscape.
The theme for this year, “The Great Hunger,” encapsulates the industry’s deep-rooted desire to create work that is not only iconic but also transformative.
Loeries CEO Preetesh Sewraj describes it as a call to action for creatives across the region to exceed expectations and deliver meaningful work.
A distinguished panel of 194 judges, led by globally respected Jury Presidents such as Merlee Jayme, Mike Dubrick, Prasoon Joshi, and Katja Thielen, will evaluate submissions across 14 subcategories and nine craft disciplines. Their collective expertise ensures a rigorous and inspiring judging process.
The Loeries Awards 2025 experience goes far beyond recognition. With expos, masterclasses, and seminars lined up, including the renowned International Seminar of Creativity, attendees will gain access to rare insights and practical knowledge from thought leaders across the globe.
