In what looked like a sequel of the clash between the Maiyegun of Yorubaland, Wasiu Ayinde, and a Dublin based vblogger, Esther Aboderin, popularly called Esabod, the media was heated up again yesterday when the latter responded to former.

Recall that in an interview with Dele Momodu, K1 took on Esabod and called her ‘ungrateful’ while stating why she was bitter against him.

Esabod, who claimed that she would be clocking sixty years of age in less than a year, insisted that she and Wasiu were age mates.

She also said ‘Maiyegun Oyo wives’ has no credibility to be installed Maiyegun of Yorubaland.

“Wasiu, I’m still repeating it, what have you done for Yoruba kingdom that warranted your installation as Maiyegun?’ she asked.

“How many of your contemporaries have you lifted up?

The controversial blogger compared the embattled Fuji maestro and the late Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.

“If Barrister was like you, you wouldn’t have succeeded when you worked under him as packer back then.

“Your success isn’t ordinary because Saheed Osupa is more talented than you.”

Esabod, who was intermittently cursing fans from Nigerians while running her show, stated that Nigerians at home were hypocrites and would not say the truth because of crumbs from the likes of Wasiu and politicians.

“Are you mad, Wasiu? How dare you mentioned my story and linked it with Ojaja,” she angrily asked.

Recall that Wasiu said in the above interview that he was the one that asked the Ooni of Ife to suspend court action against Esabod when she falsely accused the referred king of human trafficking.

Esther said Wasiu Ayinde lacked credibility at all fronts because in his interview, he claimed it was wrong to insult a king, yet he had in the past insulted the Awujale of the Ijebu Kingdom, Oba Sikiru Adetona.

“Wasiu even wished death on the referred king of Ijebuland. But it will not happen.

“Wasiu, who is supposed to be a role model to Fuji musicians, abandoned them and rather mix with pop artistes in order to start using their destinies.”

Esabod also ranted on why the Maiyegun of Yorubaland brought her and Abike Jagaban down to Nigeria.

“He brought me to Lagos to murder me based on a plan hatched between him and Abike.

“I have video evidence that he sent assassin to kill me after the event.

“I was warned not to go to Nigeria then when he invited me but I insisted. He then asked Abike to tell me to visit MC Oluomo. I told her pointblank that I was not going to leave the hotel that night.

“I believed this decision was what saved me because my fans stayed with me throughout the period at Radisson Blu, Lagos.”

Esabod, who was swearing by the Holy Quran, stated that if she was lying, the kings should make her vomit blood and if not, she threatened that she was just starting with Wasiu Ayinde, Ooni of Ife and Alaafin of Oyo because she would never compromise the truth.
