The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced via X that result re-checks will start on October 14, 2024.

During the meeting, issues concerning examination standards and results processing were thoroughly discussed. Future policies were outlined to enhance examination integrity across Nigeria.

The NEC encourages students, parents, and educators to stay tuned for the upcoming communiqué detailing further developments.

Previously, WAEC released examination results on August 12, 2024, but withheld results for 215,267 candidates due to various concerns.

As the education landscape evolves, stakeholders remain hopeful for improvements in examination practices.
