Nigerian gospel singer Dele Gold was buried in Lagos after his passing. Prominent figures, including Saidi Balogun, attended the ceremony.

 

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]igerian gospel singer Dele Agbeyo, known as Dele Gold, was buried on September 19, 2024, after passing away from a brief illness.

The ceremony, held at his Abule Egba residence, was attended by notable figures, including actor Saidi Balogun and gospel musicians Genesis, Wale Dada, and Femi Solar.

Nigerian gospel singer Dele Agbeyo, popularly known as Dele Gold, was laid to rest on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos.

Dele Gold, who hailed from Usi in Ekiti State, passed away on September 11, 2024, following a brief illness. His burial was attended by several prominent personalities, including Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun and fellow gospel musicians Genesis, Wale Dada, and Femi Solar.

Dele Gold, also affectionately referred to as The Miliki Gospel King, left a lasting legacy in the Nigerian gospel music scene.

His unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds gained him recognition across the country, and his contributions to gospel music will be remembered by fans and fellow musicians alike.

As friends, family, and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects, the atmosphere was filled with heartfelt tributes and memories of the late singer.

Those who knew him spoke highly of his kindness, talent, and dedication to his craft. Dele Gold’s passing has left a significant void in the gospel music industry, but his music and spirit continue to resonate with many.
