Nigerian industrialist, Tunde Ayeni, denies reports of entanglement with Adaobi Alagwu

Notable Nigerian industrialist and corporate lawyer, Tunde Ayeni, has refuted the reports linking him with Miss Adaobi Alagwu, according to Freelanews.

Describing the report as “mere sensationalism,” Ayeni has strongly denied any emotional entanglements with Adaobi.

In a statement released by his media office, Ayeni said that he has moved on from Adaobi, even though they were linked in the past.

“Ordinarily, the recent series of media reports linking my name with a lady, Adaobi Alagwu, should not deserve a response from me since the section of the media that is feasting on the issue seems to be uninterested in fact-finding, but mere sensationalism. But given the possibility of even some discerning readers placing some value in the story, this short clarification and disclaimer becomes necessary,” Ayeni said.

While he admitted that he had a relationship with Adaobi in the past, Ayeni said he has effectively put the past behind him.

“I wish to state that, indeed, Ms. Adaobi Alagwu, and I had a relationship, which has since ended and, as well-meaning Nigerians can imagine, it was a mistake that has caused my family much pain, which I regret and do not wish to continue reliving as a section of the media continues to make me do.”

Regarding the paternity of Adaobi’s child, the businessman explained that the issue “is one that is being resolved and will be resolved in due course, but whichever way it is resolved, it will never mean a rekindling of the ended relationship between myself and Ms. Alagwu.”

“I wish to affirm that I’m a father of three wonderful children with my delectable wife, Abiola. These are the legitimate scions of the Ayeni dynasty. I do not have any child anywhere. To allay any form of speculation based on Miss Adaobi’s claims, I hereby state that a DNA test was conducted to ascertain the paternity of the child.

“As a reputable businessman, industrialist, and corporate player, I have no time for frivolous and sensational stories and should not be distracted by such publications.

“I sincerely wish that the media will, with this statement of mine, desist from any further maligning of my person, my family, and all that I represent in society,” Ayeni stated.

Ayeni’s rebuttal came on the heels of reports in which he was portrayed as still pursuing Adaobi after allegedly losing his properties to her.

Sources in the know dismissed the reports and labeled them as “figments of the writers’ imagination” that represented the opposite of what was going on.

The source said it was Adaobi who was trying everything within her power to hold onto Ayeni, who has made it clear that it was over between them.

Adaobi was reportedly caught off guard by Ayeni’s decision to end things with her and has been attempting to win him back, an attempt the source described as “very impossible.”

Recall that Freelanews reports how Ayeni has evicted his estranged lover, Alagwu, from an office building he gifted her. READ HERE

Meanwhile, the latest findings have shown that Adaobi was solely responsible for the arrests of journalists made some time ago, as Ayeni was not involved in the arrest. Sources revealed that Ayeni had already cut ties with Alagwu at the time the journalists were being arrested.
