He further alleges a massive increase in these allocations, stating, “The allocation the constituency project from honorable members… was less than 200 million.
As of today, there is no honorable member… who has a constituency project less than 1.5, less than a billion Naira.
Every honorable member in Nigeria today has a constituency project of not less than a billion Naira.
Now, there is no senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who has a constituency project of less than 2 billion Naira. We are not exposing anybody, but these are facts.”
These allegations, if proven, suggest a dramatic escalation in the funds allocated to lawmakers for projects within their constituencies.
