According to reports, the student, who came to the United Kingdom from Nigeria to study, had been communicating with the underage girl for weeks before arranging to meet her in person.

Authorities say the messages exchanged between Paul Tata and the girl contained explicit content that raised serious concerns about child grooming.

Law enforcement agencies have confirmed that the suspect will be arrested and questioned over the alleged offences.

The investigation is being handled by child protection officers, who are working to determine the extent of the online interactions and whether other minors may have been contacted.

The Paul Tata case has reignited debate about online safety and the increasing threat of grooming through social media platforms.
