Nigerians have expressed their displeasure with a part of the President’s speech marking the country’s 60th Independence anniversary.
In his Independence Day speech, President Muhammadu Buhari addressed a number of topics, including thanking Nigerians for entrusting him with hopes for a better country. He also reiterated his commitment to the service of Nigeria.

Nigerians opined that the president’s statement was inappropriate. Some asked what constituencies he was referring to.
