Nima Memorial Foundation brought smiles to Mowe residents on March 23, 2025, by distributing free clothing, food, and essential items to those in need

 

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, the Nima Memorial Foundation spread joy and hope to hundreds of residents in Mowe, Ogun State, as they hosted a heartwarming event that provided free clothing, food, and essential items to those in need.

The event, held at the Atala community in Mowe, was a shining example of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on vulnerable communities.

The atmosphere at the event was filled with gratitude and excitement as recipients eagerly received their gifts.

Smiles were in abundance, with the joy of the community members reflecting the spirit of giving and compassion that has become synonymous with the Nima Memorial Foundation’s initiatives.

“We are thrilled to be able to make a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Mowe,” said Zainab Abdumalik-Mohammed, Co-Founder of the Nima Memorial Foundation. “Our goal is to spread love, kindness, and hope, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so.”

The foundation’s outreach efforts align with its mission to serve those in need and promote a culture of kindness and community support.

“We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances,” added Toba Ilori, the foundation’s program executive. “We hope that our efforts will inspire others to join us in making a difference.”

This event was made possible thanks to the generous donations and tireless efforts of volunteers who worked together to collect, sort, and distribute the various items.

The Nima Memorial Foundation’s ability to mobilise resources and support those in need highlights the strength of community partnerships and the power of collective action in creating meaningful change.

The Nima Memorial Foundation continues to expand its reach, growing from strength to strength while maintaining its core values of compassion, empathy, and service to others.
