The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) inducted 109 associates and 44 full members during the 2024 Marketing Conference held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The induction ceremony was led by Registrar Patience Sado, who urged the new members to demonstrate good character and maintain loyalty to the institute.
Idorenyen Enang, President and Chairman of the Council, underscored the significance of professionalism within the institute. He highlighted the creation of a Code of Conduct Tribunal aimed at addressing any unprofessional behavior among members.
During the oath-taking ceremony, Idorenyen advised the inductees to thoroughly acquaint themselves with the institute’s regulations. He emphasized that ignorance of the law would not be an acceptable excuse for any violations.
NIMN acts as the professional body for individuals in marketing and related fields. Its membership includes a diverse group of professionals such as marketing practitioners, sales and marketing directors, customer service managers, relationship directors, media planners, channel developers, creative directors, value builders, brand builders, enterprise builders, corporate and institutional governors, transformers, marketing and mass communication experts, general managers, and CEOs.
The 2024 Marketing Conference provided a platform for the newly inducted members to join a network dedicated to upholding and advancing the standards of the marketing profession in Nigeria.
