The Nigerian entertainment industry is grieving the loss of one of its stalwarts, veteran Nollywood actor Dayo Adewunmi, affectionately known as Sule Suebebe, who passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.

Sule Suebebe’s demise occurred at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The news of his passing was initially disclosed by Pastor Ademola Amusan, widely known as Agbala Gabriel, a prominent cleric based in Ibadan, who had been caring for the late actor during his health challenges in recent months.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on his Facebook page, Agbala Gabriel expressed sorrow over the loss, stating, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
The announcement sparked an outpouring of condolences and fond memories from fans, colleagues, and members of the entertainment community who revered Sule Suebebe for his contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
