North London property dispute scandal unfolds with fraud, identity theft, death of a Nigerian general and a woman who never existed, revealed by Open Justice UK

North London property dispute — that’s the tangled headline emerging from a bizarre court case uncovered by Adam Wren, Director of Open Justice UK.

Taking to his X account, Wren shared a jaw-dropping thread detailing a legal battle that seems ripped from the pages of a political thriller.

The case reportedly centres around a property dispute in North London involving a deceased Nigerian military general, a mysterious woman who allegedly died during the proceedings but was later found to have never existed, and two opposing parties both accusing each other of fraud and identity theft.

Even more startling? A Nigerian judge is reportedly caught in the middle of the mess, with each side casting suspicions and allegations across borders and legal systems.

“I just found a property dispute ruling in North London that involves a dead Nigerian general, a woman that dies during the court case & then turns out to have never existed, and two sets of people alleging fraud and identity theft against each other, including a Nigerian judge,” Wren posted.

The thread has since gained traction online, with users expressing disbelief and asking for further documentation.

While full court details have not yet been made public, the post is understood to reference an ongoing or recently concluded property litigation.

Wren, who heads Open Justice UK, is known for using social media to highlight strange, troubling, or precedent-setting court rulings across England and Wales.

His role typically involves making justice more accessible and transparent — and this latest revelation certainly caught the internet’s attention.

Legal observers note that international links in property disputes are not uncommon in London, where overseas ownership intersects with UK legal systems.

But cases involving fictional identities, deceased high-profile individuals, and mutual fraud allegations are rare — and deeply concerning.

It remains unclear whether criminal proceedings will follow or if UK authorities will collaborate with Nigerian officials for further investigation.

For now, the North London property dispute story continues to unfold — a surreal mix of legal drama, cross-border intrigue, and digital age documentation that may take time to fully untangle.
