The renowned humanitarian platform honoured remarkable contributions to societal good, marking the occasion with grandeur and a strong commitment to charity.
The event’s highlight was the attendance of His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege Ph.D., MCIPR, MPRII, FHEA, Olofin Apesin Olode, Olota of Otta, Aworiland, who served as the Royal Father of the day.
His Majesty was also awarded the prestigious Outstanding Leadership Award for his visionary leadership and dedication to promoting quality leadership in the community.
Global figures graced the historic event, including the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Paul Andrews, Professor Erinma Bell, Lady Mayoress Karen Andrews, Lord Mayor of Salford, Tanya Burch, and Mayors Consort Philip Burch.
The presence of these prominent personalities cemented the foundation’s far-reaching influence in global humanitarian efforts.
Accompanying Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege was his wife, Olori Oloruntoyin Obalanlege, alongside other royal dignitaries from Otta Aworiland.
These included High Chief Abimbola Dada (Iyalaje of Otta), High Chief Olukemi Adeniji-Adeogun (Yeyegunwa of Otta), Chief Raymond Okikiolu Fadayiro (Baamolu of Otta), Chief Angela Fadairo (Yeye Baamolu of Otta), and Prince Adewale Adeyanju Obalanlege (Consultant on Culture and Tourism).
In his acceptance speech, the top and most respected Awori king stated that the award serves as an encouragement to do more for the Aworiland and humanity as a whole.
“I don’t know how to express my happiness but this will inspire me more to do more for my community and for humanity.
“I want to thank my lovely wife and members of Olota-in-Council, my chiefs. Because without them, I don’t I can do all these things that you’ve virtually recognised me for.
“I want to promise you that with this award, I’ll continue to do more for my community and for humanity at large,” the monarch said.
The Ceebee Gold Foundation, led by its founder Ms. Bola Olojede Olayemi, has been instrumental in promoting global unity and addressing critical societal issues.
The foundation’s consistent efforts over the years have garnered recognition, making it a key player in the charitable sector.
