In a recent sermon, the Anambra-based cleric told his congregation that his purpose in ministry was not financial gain but spiritual truth.
“I no dey do church for money. Nobody pays me tithe,” he said. “I am doing church to prove to you that Christ is real. That is my mission. When I finish my job, I will leave the same way Prophet Emmanuel TB Joshua left.”
The statement has triggered mixed reactions online. While some praised his stance, others questioned how the church operates without tithes.
@Godswill-aki commented, “Protect this man at all costs. Better than your favourite pastors. That’s pure gospel he is preaching.”
@Obiageli replied, “Really? But it’s biblical. So how do you run the church?”
