The outspoken Nigerian rapper, known for never shying away from expressing his views, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to share his unwavering stance on contributing to the church.

In a post that has sparked widespread discussion, Odumodublvck declared that if he had one billion naira, he would “gladly contribute it to RCCG,” referring to the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

His comments come at a time when financial support for religious institutions often faces public scrutiny.

“It is not by force to serve the Lord; they did not say that if you do not drop 1bn, you will not enter heaven,” he wrote.

“As for me and my household, we will continue to support the work of Christ shamelessly.”

Odumodublvck defended his position by highlighting the financial burden often carried by churches and pastors.

We have made it a norm to desecrate the idea of supporting the church. Shey na Holy Spirit dey fuel the gen? Na Holy Spirit go pay for logistics for evangelism?

He argued that criticizing church donations ignores the reality that the church supports many less fortunate individuals.

“We have made it a norm to desecrate the idea of supporting the church. Shey na Holy Spirit dey fuel the gen? Na Holy Spirit go pay for logistics for evangelism?” he asked rhetorically.

He emphasized that churches require substantial financial resources to operate, often more than the average business, and called on critics to be more understanding of the role the church plays in community support.

The rapper ended his message on a defiant yet faithful note:

“No matter what you people throw at us. You are just fulfilling the scriptures. God bless you.”

In a landscape where celebrities often avoid taking firm stances on faith-related topics, Odumodublvck’s bold support for church donations has added a powerful voice to the conversation around faith, finances, and freedom of choice.
