Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, Oba Prof. Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Olota of Ota, on his 58th birthday, celebrated on 28th August 2024.

In his message, the Governor lauded the Olota’s significant achievements since ascending the throne, noting his impact on the peace, unity, and development of Ota and Aworiland.

Oba Obalanlege, known for his purposeful and inclusive leadership, has played a pivotal role in advancing various sectors within his domain.

His reign has seen milestones in education, infrastructure, and cultural preservation, earning him respect and admiration both within and outside Aworiland.

Governor Abiodun acknowledged the Olota’s dedication to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Aworiland while fostering unity and development across Ogun State.

The Governor also expressed his deep appreciation for the support and guidance his administration has received from the Olota over the years.

He praised the monarch as a valuable asset to Ogun State, whose leadership continues to inspire many. Governor Abiodun joined the royal family, friends, and the people of Ota and Aworiland in celebrating this significant milestone.

As the Olota of Ota turns 58, the Governor prayed for his continued health, wisdom, and strength to continue his impactful leadership.

He expressed hope that Oba Obalanlege would remain a beacon of inspiration for his subjects and the wider community.
