Olam Agri wins Top Employer 2026 in Nigeria for the sixth consecutive year, recognised for workplace excellence, HR practices, and employee engagement

Olam Agri has been recognised by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer in Nigeria for 2026, marking the sixth consecutive year the agribusiness firm has received the accolade.

The recognition underscores the company’s commitment to building a high-performing workplace through data-driven HR strategies, independent validation, and initiatives that promote business performance, employee engagement, and professional growth.

The Top Employers Institute also certified Olam Agri as a Top Employer across Africa for the sixth year, with certifications in nine additional countries, including Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Australia, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Active in 131 countries, the Top Employers Institute is a global authority on HR certification, benchmarking, and advisory.

Its certification programme assesses organisations across six domains: people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee wellbeing.

Jaideep Biswas, Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Human Resources at Olam Agri, said the consecutive certifications reaffirm the company’s focus on building an engaged and motivated workforce.

“To have secured the Top Employer Certification for the sixth consecutive year reinforces our focus and intentionality on building and maintaining an engaged, inspired and satisfied workforce,” Biswas said.

“Our team is our greatest asset, and we continuously deploy programmes to ensure excellence and shared learning.”

Anil Nair, Olam Agri Nigeria Country Head, added that the award motivates the company to further enhance workplace fulfilment and retention.

“As we strive to ensure a food-secure world, we also ensure our world-class workforce finds fulfilment in their roles,” Nair said.

“The sixth consecutive Top Employer certification will spur us to do more to maintain a well-equipped and inspired workforce as the world of work transforms.”

Olam Agri emphasised its ongoing commitment to creating a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing organisation, encouraging collaboration, rewarding meritocracy, and fostering entrepreneurial spirit.

Top Employers Institute Chief Executive Officer Adrian Seligman said the certification reflects Olam Agri’s strong alignment between people strategy and organisational goals.

“Achieving a Top Employer Certification for 2026 demonstrates Olam Agri’s dedication to building an outstanding workplace that enables sustained business performance,” Seligman said.
