Oluremi Tinubu Birthday celebrated as Lagos Speaker Obasa praises her philanthropy, political leadership, and nationwide impact through Renewed Hope
Obasa described Sen. Tinubu, OON, CON, as the “Mother of the Nation,” lauding her boundless philanthropy and political stewardship.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dave Agboola, the Speaker highlighted her selfless service, noting the life-changing impact of her initiatives on youth, women, and vulnerable communities.
The Speaker commended her robust leadership as a three-term Senator and now as First Lady of Nigeria, describing her as “a pivotal force, inestimable cheerleader, and foremost partner of our beloved President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in his mission to enthrone a more prosperous and progressive Nigeria through the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Obasa referenced the New Era Foundation, established during her tenure as Lagos First Lady, and praised the Renewed Hope Initiative, which continues to uplift Nigerians through education, empowerment, and compassionate support.
He called the initiative “significantly impactful,” emphasising that her work “is not just about policies; it’s about touching lives and bringing about real, tangible change in our society.”
The Speaker concluded that the Renewed Hope Initiative has grown into a nationwide movement, instilling hope and addressing pressing societal challenges.
