Oluwo accuses Ooni

Oluwo accuses Ooni of affair with his ex-wife and questions paternity, alleging a plot to kill him and destroy his throne

Oluwo has accuses Ooni in a sensational video that has gone viral, alleging that the Ooni of Ife had an affair with his former wife while they were still married and casting doubt over the paternity of the child they had together.

In the video posted to his official Facebook page, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, claimed that his ex-wife, whom he said was introduced to him from Canada, had been part of a grand plot to kill him and destroy his throne.

“My things are hidden. None of you can endure what these people have done to me. They packaged a woman for me.

I didn’t know her from Canada. It was a setup. She was in my house for over three years, communicating with them and plotting my death,” he said.

According to the monarch, the woman allegedly poisoned him twice and made several attempts on his life while secretly working with the Ooni and his allies.

“They were setting me up with videos and many things in my own house… She had a child, whom I don’t even know if he’s my child now. I have to confirm that through DNA,” he added.

Oluwo further alleged that after he sent the woman away, the Ooni personally arranged accommodation for her and her son at a hotel. He vowed that his conflict with the Ooni would never end.
