Osun APC governorship aspirant Senator Mudashiru Husain has backed Afenifere leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti’s endorsement of President Tinubu, calling it a bold affirmation of Yoruba unity and economic rebirth

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Osun State, Senator Mudashiru Oyetunde Husain, has thrown his weight behind the recent letter of endorsement written by Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, the revered leader of Afenifere, in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership and re-election.

Senator Husain, popularly known for his campaign mantra “Irorun De” (Ease Has Come), described Fasoranti’s letter as “a bold affirmation of Yoruba unity, integrity, and commitment to Nigeria’s economic rebirth.”

The two-page letter, addressed directly to President Tinubu, praised the President’s strides in steering the country through difficult yet necessary reforms aimed at national recovery.

Fasoranti lauded Tinubu’s establishment of regional economic blocs like the South West Development Commission and commended his silent restructuring of Nigeria’s political economy.

“We observed your quiet revolution in steering our country to the trajectory where we started from… towards irreversible development,” Fasoranti noted in his letter.

Fasoranti’s message also included a passionate appeal for the continuity of South West lawmakers in the National Assembly, urging President Tinubu to support their re-election to ensure a collective push for Nigeria’s political and economic progress.

We stand firmly behind Chief Fasoranti’s call for continuity. With Irorun De, a better Osun and Nigeria is within reach.

Reacting to the development, Senator Husain praised the Afenifere leader for speaking the mind of millions of Yoruba people.

“We stand firmly behind Pa Fasoranti’s call for continuity. With ‘Irorun De’, a better Osun and Nigeria is within reach. President Tinubu’s leadership is laying the foundation for lasting change, and Osun will continue to be a part of that national transformation,” he said.

Senator Husain supports Fasoranti endorsement

Senator Husain, who served previously in the National Assembly, has consistently aligned himself with progressive ideals and policies.

His endorsement of Tinubu and the broader vision of regional development echoes his long-standing advocacy for grassroots empowerment and governance reforms in Osun State.

As the build-up to Osun 2026 continues, Senator Husain’s stance positions him as a key player in aligning regional aspirations with national development under President Tinubu’s administration.

His message of “Irorun De” not only resonates with the people of Osun but also connects with the wider call for a united, restructured and prosperous Nigeria.
