Entry opens on July 14 and closes on August 4, 2025, for campaigns executed between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.
The awards, now in their third edition, aim to spotlight the growing influence of the outdoor advertising industry, recognising exceptional work from agencies, brands, media owners, ad-tech providers, and creative professionals.
LOMA Awards continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Nigeria’s OOH ecosystem by recognising ideas that redefine storytelling, enhance audience engagement, and leverage cutting-edge technology.
According to the organisers, the two-stage process remains in place: online entry submission followed by supporting materials from shortlisted candidates.
“The overwhelming feedback from previous editions has affirmed our belief in celebrating local brilliance and ingenuity,” said Kingsley Onwukaeme, Convener of the LOMA Awards.
“The outdoor advertising industry has evolved rapidly, and these awards are a platform for honouring work that pushes boundaries and builds long-term industry capacity.”

Onwukaeme highlighted the influence of LOMA’s award model, noting, “We’ve helped uncover incredible hidden talents who otherwise might not be spotlighted. LOMA is not just a ceremony; it’s a movement towards an inclusive, high-impact industry.”

For 2025, LOMA expands its judging panel to include a mix of respected Nigerian and international professionals across advertising, digital, media buying, and marketing.
Confirmed jurors include Gideon Adey (Gurooh Ltd, UK), Ogu Chidi (Outdoor Warehouse Ltd, Nigeria), Livia Brown (what3things, South Africa), Rajiv Raghunath (Wellversed Media, India), and Papa Blankson-Anaman (Publicis West Africa, Ghana).
“This diverse jury ensures that entries are judged with fairness and global relevance,” Onwukaeme added.
“The outdoor advertising industry in Nigeria deserves global recognition, and LOMA helps drive that narrative.”
Key categories include Campaign of the Year, Ad-Tech Innovation, Creator and Commerce, Media Audit, Sales and Operations, Rising Star, and Individual Achievement.
A special category will also honour the growing synergy between digital content creators and OOH platforms.
Long-time industry supporters Absen (a global LED screen leader) and Polygon (a programmatic DOOH pioneer) return as official partners.
Newcomer Moving Walls joins the 2025 edition, reinforcing the awards’ mission of technological excellence. These partnerships underline the importance of data-driven and tech-enabled OOH delivery.
A representative from Absen remarked: “We’re proud to support the outdoor advertising industry in Nigeria. The LOMA Awards are timely and much needed, especially in encouraging young talent and new creative benchmarks.”
The LOMA 2025 Awards and Conference will be held on September 25–26, 2025, in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event will feature keynote addresses, breakout sessions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities for top-level professionals from Nigeria’s marketing, media, and technology sectors.
