Oyo NUJ visits Adron Homes during 2025 Press Week, commends real estate firm for affordable housing, CSR, and media collaboration
As part of its 2025 Press Week activities, the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Adron Homes and Properties Limited, commending the firm’s contributions to affordable housing and community development across Nigeria.

The visit, held at Adron’s head office in Omole, Lagos, was led by Oyo NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola, and aimed at strengthening collaboration between the media and the real estate sector in promoting housing awareness and public investment.
In his remarks, Babalola praised Adron Homes for its consistency in delivering housing solutions tailored to the economic realities of ordinary Nigerians.
“Adron Homes stands out as a model of innovation and social responsibility. Your impact on Nigerian families through accessible housing options deserves national recognition,” he said.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of the Chairman/CEO Sir Adetola Emmanuelking, Managing Director, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, expressed gratitude for the NUJ’s recognition and congratulated the union on its upcoming Press Week.
Ajobo highlighted the media’s strategic role in real estate development, noting that transparent and factual reporting is critical to building public trust in the housing sector.
“The media is a crucial partner in our journey. We are committed to maintaining transparency and enhancing public understanding of land ownership, housing finance, and real estate investment,” she stated.
An interactive session followed, during which both parties explored potential partnerships in public education, particularly around real estate literacy, land documentation, and property acquisition processes.
The NUJ team also acknowledged Adron Homes’ impactful CSR efforts, particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, employment generation, and community infrastructure development.

The visit concluded with the exchange of goodwill messages, photos, and pledges of mutual support — underscoring a shared vision for national development through responsible journalism and accessible housing.
