President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

PDP tells Tinubu to prepare his handover note, saying Nigerians have lost patience with APC and will vote them out in 2027

The remark was made on Friday by the Organising Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Hamza Madagali, during a press briefing at the party’s state secretariat in Yola.

Madagali accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of lacking direction and failing to address the country’s challenges.

According to him, citizens have grown weary of broken promises and poor governance.

He pointed to the PDP’s successful ward congresses in Adamawa as proof of the party’s unity and readiness to reclaim power.

He also said the composition of the APC’s National Convention committees reflected a ruling party nearing its end at the presidency.

“Nigerians are wiser now; they now know the difference between original and fake. The only way out is to return the PDP back to power,” Madagali said, adding that people would not “gamble with the future of their children.”

The PDP maintains that Nigerians’ frustrations with rising hardship, insecurity and weak leadership will translate into votes against the APC in 2027.
