In a shocking revelation, the Ogun State Police Command has successfully unearthed the gruesome details surrounding the disappearance of Quadri Salami, an 18-year-old 100 level student of Obafemi Awolowo University.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha, announced a significant breakthrough on December 6, 2023, as he personally led a Tactical Squad to Mile 6 in Ajemo area, Abeokuta.

The investigation began when Quadri’s father reported his son missing on November 14, 2023, stating that he had not seen him since November 8. Despite extensive efforts to locate him, all attempts proved futile.

The turning point came when the CP and his team tracked a clue leading to the arrest of one Akeem Usman, who was found in possession of the victim’s phone.

The arrest of Akeem Usman implicated another individual, Ifadowo Niyi.

According to their confessional statements, both suspects slaughtered Quadri and dismembered his body for ritual purposes.

Ifadowo took away Quadri’s head and two wrists, paying Akeem Usman one hundred thousand Naira as proceeds from the sale of these body parts.

Disturbingly, the suspects confessed to selling other body parts, including the victim’s heart, two legs, and flesh, to internet fraudsters. The remaining parts were reportedly used for ‘Awure,’ a crime against humanity.

Shockingly, the duo admitted to having engaged in similar money rituals with four other human heads in the past.

The suspects are currently in custody at the Police headquarters, Eleweran, SCID, where discreet investigations are ongoing.

Both individuals will face prosecution as the CP reiterates the commitment to ensuring that justice is served. The police are determined to delve further into the case to apprehend all perpetrators involved in this heinous crime.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola, assures the public that the law will be applied to its fullest extent, ensuring accountability for those responsible for such gruesome acts.
