In the wake of recent allegations made by Kunle Ayanlowo, K1 De Ultimate’s former drummer, against the renowned Fuji music icon, Portable, a controversial figure in the Nigerian music scene, has stepped forward to offer advice to Ayanlowo.

Ayanlowo, who claimed to have worked with the renowned Fuji music icon, the Olori Omooba of Akile ijebuland, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal for 32 years, voiced his grievances in a recent interview, alleging instances of abuse and control during his tenure with the musician.

He highlighted practices such as K1 confiscating passports from band members during travels, leaving them vulnerable and subject to his authority for undisclosed reasons.

Despite his alleged dedication and contributions to the Fuji music scene, Ayanlowo expressed frustration over the lack of meaningful gains for himself and his family.

Speaking in Yoruba, Portable urged Ayanlowo to refrain from tarnishing K1’s reputation and exacerbating the situation further.

He questioned why the former drummer remained with K1 for over three decades if he believed it was not profitable after just one year.

Portable emphasized K1’s status as an icon in the music industry and suggested that the practice of confiscating passports was not uncommon among band members to prevent them from absconding during international performances.
