The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development on Wednesday, stating, “Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba.

We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up.”

Portable has been in the spotlight for various controversies, including his recent claim of undergoing psychiatric treatment in Ogun State.

However, the police have dismissed this statement, asserting that he remains wanted for an ongoing investigation.

The Ogun State Police Command declared Portable wanted after he was linked to an attack on officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

The incident occurred at Odogwu Bar in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, where government officials were enforcing an urban development exercise.

Following his surrender, authorities in Lagos have coordinated with their Ogun State counterparts to facilitate his transfer.
