President Tinubu met with US State Department Senior Advisor Massad Boulos in Paris to discuss regional security and economic cooperation in Africa
[dropcap]P[/dropcap]resident Bola Tinubu held discussions with Massad Boulos, the United States State Department Senior Advisor for Africa, in Paris, France, on Thursday.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, disclosed this meeting via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday.
The high-level discussions centred on regional security, with a particular focus on collaborative efforts to establish lasting peace in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and on enhancing economic cooperation across the African continent.
Onanuga highlighted the meeting as a demonstration of the strengthening diplomatic relationship between Nigeria and the United States under President Tinubu’s administration.
“State Department Senior Advisor for Africa Massad Boulos met with President Tinubu on Thursday to discuss regional security including working together with partners to build a durable peace in eastern DRC.

They also discussed expanding opportunities for economic cooperation throughout Africa,” he wrote.
