Press society pays familiarisation visit to police command, Lagos

Some Executives of Non governmental media organisation, The Press Society had visited Lagos Police Command Ikeja to familiarise the new organisation, its vision and area of collaboration with the Police.

The Lagos Police Public Relation Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin received representatives of Press society in an hospitable manner in his office on Saturday 10th of February 2024.

In a telephone interview with our correspondence and the President of Press Society Comrade Elias Abayomi Adagunduro after the visit, opined that the short visit was strategic for the organisation to acquaint its initiative with all stakeholders it will be working with going forward.

In his words he said;

“It is important we familiarise our goal, and objectives with all the stakeholders we will be working with in the future.

“Since our Secretariat headquarter is in Lagos, it is imperative to visit Lagos Police Command before heading to other command of Police in other states to familiarise the organisation’s objectives and goals.

“The details of our engagement will be communicated in a letter to the Commissioner of Police Lagos state in the coming days”. He said

The Public Relation Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin appreciated members of Press Society for the visit and the initiative. He said he will be looking forward to their letter to the commissioner.
