Rita Edochie backs May

Rita Edochie backs May against online drama, praising her achievements and dismissing distractions while the family feud with Linc’s wife Yinka intensifies

The veteran actress praised May’s resilience and said the mother of three now focuses on bigger achievements abroad, far from online squabbles.

In her message, Rita described May as loved by the wider Edochie clan and urged her to ignore what she called “retarded personalities” stirring conflict.

She revealed that May currently pursues business opportunities in China, aiming to surprise doubters with fresh milestones.

The post arrived after harsh exchanges between Yinka, Linc Edochie’s new wife, and May’s fans.

Those clashes even led to the leakage of private phone numbers, fuelling claims that the family had turned against May.

Queen May Yul Edochie is too committed to pay any attention to unnecessary distractions.

Rita’s statement counters that narrative and emphasises unity.

Supporters quickly celebrated the endorsement. Commenters thanked Rita for “standing for the truth” and hailed May as “daughter of grace.”

Some critics, however, noted that the wider feud still simmers, with fresh allegations surfacing online each day.

May remains silent about the latest furore.

Her lawyer recently praised her loyalty to the Edochie name and contrasted her conduct with that of other in-laws.

Observers expect further drama, yet Rita’s intervention may steer public sentiment in May’s favour.

For now, the Nollywood matriarch’s words paint a clear picture: the family still values May, and the actress sees little merit in engaging trolls while bigger goals wait on the global stage.
