At a session heralding the 2023 event, Rite Foods Assistant Marketing Manager, Adebola Adeyinka, stated that the World-class and Proudly-Nigerian company, which supported the festival in 2022, will continue in its giant stride by sustaining its support for the cultural event this year through sponsorship collaboration, in making the event very successful and exciting, as the international event signposts the cultural heritage and values of the Ijebu nation and its autonomous people.

She stated that Rite Foods will provide its arrays of brands that are widely consumed by the people who cut across various demographics of its consumers such that they will be rejuvenated for enhanced performances during the different traditional age grade contests and the displays of arts and culture among other exhilarating performances.

According to Adeyinka: “The Ojude Oba festival is highly significant to us as a people and as a company that operates in Ogun State, especially with a modern factory in Ijebu -Ode, we see it as a responsibility to fully partake in the festival as sponsors to make the occasion more memorable. ”

In the past years, Rite Foods has been supporting the festival as much as it could, making it very successful, exhilarating, and memorable, essentially through the offering of our brands to the sons and daughters of the land, as well as international audiences that often throng the city for the festivity,” she said.

In his remark, the Project Co-ordinator of the Ojude Oba Festival Committee, Chief (Dr.) Fassy Adetokunbo Olore Yusuf, who represented His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba II, the Awujale of the Ijẹbu Kingdom, asserted that the festival is a rallying point of the Ijebu people, and helps in their unification.

He added that it brings about love and mutual understanding that has been in existence for over two centuries, with cultural activities that reflect the highly cherished norms of the forefathers of Ijebu Kingdom.

According to him, the festive period also boosts economic ventures in Ijebu Ode, as well as enhances cultural tourism, as local visitors and foreigners visit the city to partake and witness the different displays of arts and culture, that are distinctively attached to the Ijebu race.

With the special guest of honour as Sir Clement Oluwatumininu Okeowo, a global business mogul, some interesting events lined-up for the day include the best-dressed age grade groups contest and the displays by the warlords’ families in Ijebuland, among other exhilarating performances.

Eulogising Rite Foods for supporting the forthcoming festival, the Royal Father of Ijebu Kingdom through the Co-ordinator of the Ojude Oba Committee thanked Rite Foods Limited for the immense contribution towards the realisation of the forthcoming festival.
