Osupa has remained a vocal advocate for Yoruba culture and Fuji music, a genre founded by Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.
In a video shared online, Osupa was seen performing before the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, where he described Yoruba as the most interesting language in the world.
Spoken by over 47 million people across Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and beyond, the Yoruba language plays a vital role in global African traditions.
It is widely used in Afro-American and Afro-Caribbean religious practices such as Santería and Candomblé. Despite this influence, many modern practitioners no longer speak it fluently, relying on Yoruba words for chants and rituals.
