Selena Gomez revealed that due to health issues like lupus and bipolar disorder, carrying a child could endanger her life, and she has grieved this reality.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]merican actress and singer Selena Gomez has opened up about her inability to carry children due to severe health issues.
Gomez, who battles bipolar disorder and lupus, shared in a recent Vanity Fair interview that her medical conditions make pregnancy a life-threatening risk for both her and the baby.

She explained, “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”
Despite this, Selena has expressed hope for her future and plans to keep her last name when she eventually marries.
In 2015, Selena took a break from her career to address anxiety and depression caused by her lupus diagnosis, and she underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 as a result of the disease.
Recently, Bloomberg declared her a billionaire. Selena is currently in a relationship with record producer Benny Blanco.
