Her life and legacy, marked by an unyielding “Can Do” spirit, have inspired countless women and exemplified leadership with distinction.

Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, Arole of Remoland, expressed deep sadness at her sudden demise, describing her as a close confidant and a younger sister in spirit.

In a heartfelt tribute, he acknowledged her immense contributions to politics and society, reflecting on the loss with great sorrow.

“She was not just a politician but one with remarkable difference, making her impact felt wherever she found herself,” Senator Daniel said. “Remoland has lost a great inspiration for women’s aspirations.”

Honourable Onanuga’s journey in politics transcended boundaries, earning her respect and admiration across Nigeria.

She was a beacon of hope for women’s empowerment, embodying resilience, life, and optimism. Her influence extended far beyond her immediate environment, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Despite the profound grief, Senator Daniel offered words of solace: “Though too soon, too sudden, and very much unexpected, we believe she has only gone to take her much-needed rest with her Maker.”

The community mourns Honourable Onanuga’s passing but draws strength from her legacy. Sagamu and Remoland will continue to cherish her memory as a guiding light and a symbol of unwavering determination.

Her family, friends, and colleagues are in the thoughts and prayers of all who admired her exemplary life.

The loss of such an influential leader underscores the fleeting nature of life and the importance of carrying forward her vision of empowerment and service.
