[dropcap]S[/dropcap]enator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East District at the National Assembly, has joined millions of Yoruba sons and daughters worldwide in celebrating the 50th birthday of His Imperial Majesty, Arole Oduduwa, Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.

In his message, the senator, along with his family, expressed heartfelt congratulations to the Ooni, acknowledging his pivotal role as the custodian of Yoruba heritage.
He prayed for the monarch’s long reign and prosperity with the Yoruba saying, “K’ade pe lori, ki bata pe l’ese, irukere a di abere,” meaning, “May the crown endure on your head, may your feet remain firm, and long may you reign.”
