South African TikToker Granddilan, known online as @realgraddilan, has made a public apology to Nigerians, addressing the escalating cyber feud between South Africans and Nigerians.
The TikToker, in a viral video, is seen kneeling while begging Nigerians to forgive and end the hostility.
He expressed concern over the impact of the ongoing conflict, noting that many businesses have suffered, with some even closing their apps due to the cyber-attacks.
The tensions between the two countries intensified when South Africans reportedly initiated a cyber attack on Nigerians.
This involved using fake accounts to order rides through Bolt and cancelling them upon the drivers’ arrival. The actions led to a retaliatory response from Nigerians, further fuelling the online conflict.
Granddilan’s sincere plea comes after he realised the extensive damage caused by the cyber war. He admitted that South Africans are now weary and unable to match the numbers mobilised by Nigerians.
Referring to Nigeria as the “Giant of Africa,” he expressed deep regret over the situation and called for peace between the two nations.
