The late Special Apostle Prince David Olawunmi Odulaja, JP, was buried on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
The four-day long event, which was mainly focused at celebrating a departed loving and caring father, kicked off on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, with Commendation and Service of Songs at the Praying Band St. Matthias, Ijo Ita Balogun, in Ebute Metta, Lagos.
On Thursday, his remain was moved from the General Hospital, Ikorodu, where he was interned, to his hometown in Ijebu Ode.
The Christian Wake was held at the Otunba Subomi Balogun Hall, Ijebu Ode and officiated by members of his former church at Ebute Metta, Lagos led by His Grace Baba Aladura H. B. Amusan and Special Apostle Supt. Osinnowo.
Departed Special Apostle Odulaja was finally laid to rest at Ijebu Ode Christian Cemetery, Irewon, after a church service at the same hall with the children, grand children and friends paying their last respect.

Pa Odulaja, with Most Senior Reverend Apostolic Mother S.O. Osinowo, established The Praying Band St. Matthias New Cherubim and Seraphim, Ebute Metta-Lagos, where he eventually met his wife, Senior Reverend Apostolic Mother Odulaja, JP.
The couple were married in 1966 and the journey was blessed with six children; four males and two females, with the popular politician and versatile entrepreneur, Prince Femi Odulaja, being the eldest child.
The deceased man of God was also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
While alive, SP Apostle Odulaja was known for his love, kindness, selflessness and humility. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
