The Nigerian Police Force claims that it has not submitted its report on the investigation of the embattled ‘Super Cop’ – Abba Kyari.

Recently, there were rumours and speculations that the Force has submitted its report on Kyari’s investigation.

The Police, through its Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba dismissed such reports in a statement on Tuesday. According to him, investigations are still ongoing and the public will be made aware when it concludes.

According to the statement, “The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the general public that the probe into the alleged indictment of DCP Abba Kyari by the FBI, being conducted by the NPF Special Investigation Panel (SIP), is still ongoing.”
Deal of the day

“The Force hereby reassures the public that the outcome of investigations by the probe panel would be communicated accordingly upon conclusion of the investigations,” The statement further said.

Abba Kyari was suspended by the Nigerian Police to allow proper investigations into the allegation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that the most decorated Police officer was on the payroll of notorious cybercriminal Ramon Olorunwa Abbas.

If found guilty, Kyari could be charged for being involved in a series of fraudulent acts in which millions of dollars were stolen from multiple individuals and organizations.
