Abiodun Alabi, a new Commissioner of Police, has been named to succeed Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu as the Lagos police chief.
Odumosu was recently upgraded to the level of AIG and was slated to be redeployed from the Lagos State command as the CP as a result of the elevation.
According reports retrieved by Freelanews, Alabi, who was the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police until his recent appointment, will take over from Odumosu by next week.
Details will be provided later.
