The Federal Commissioner of Federal Character Commission, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade, has joined the multitude to pay last respect to the late Ogun State political juggernaut, Sen. Buruji Kashamu.

Recall Freelanews reported that Kashamu died from the complications relating to COVID-19 yesterday, August 8, 2020.

In the message made available to our reporter, Hon. Akinlade stated that the late politician died when his political experience is most needed in Ogun State.

“In total submission to the will of Almighty Allah I accept the sad news of the death of my brother and friend, Senator (Prince) Buruji Kashamu.

“Prince lived life worthy of emulation as a man of strong conviction, versatility, brilliance, and philanthropic gestures.

“His death came when his political experience and services is most needed in our dear state. Ogun state has lost a Man of strong will and a good fighter. A man you must love to hate and hate to love.

“His sudden demise will in no small way affects numerous people especially the downthroden, his political, business associates and family members.

“Buruji came, saw and conquered. His name can never be erased from the political records of Ogun State in particular and Nigeria in general.

“On behalf of myself, family and political associates I commiserate with the immediate family members and friends of our dear Senator Buruji Kashamu, May God grant them fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

He, however, prayed that the soul of the departed Sen. Kashamu found peace.

“It is my prayer that God forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanat Firdaus.

“Adieu Kashamu! Farewell THE AUTHORITY!” he mourned.
