Popular Afrojuju and crossover musician, King Jide Harmony, has announced a 2023 fest, titled The Jide Rockfest, TJRFest, to enable Lagos socialites start the New Year rocking.
TJRFest, which is in its maiden edition, is coming at a time when the nation is tensed up over the forthcoming presidential election in February 2023 and King Jide Harmony has decided to provide the needed succour to calm the nerves.
The 2-in-1 event would be taking place at the prestigious Black Dice Cafe. The event is packaged by Kanbitoons Entertainment and proudly supported by Freelanews.
King Jide Harmony and his Jide Harmony Rhythm Dandies have sworn to ensure attendees have a swell time and every minute spent at the January 6 gig is worth it.
A new medley, titled Jide, which comprises of songs that would definitely keep one’s feet dancing, is on the menu list to be freely dished at the Rockfest.
According to KJH, one motive was on his in mind when putting all these together.

“The motive of this is to preach love, peace and harmony in the country. Infact, the event is an all white party which is the colour that signifies what I preach in my lyrics,” King Harmony said.
King Jide Harmony started his music career from the church choir at age of seven. He was also a member of the school band during his secondary education and formed a three man band back then by name Action Boiz. The band was, however, dissolved when the time to further his education came calling.
Jide started fully in the music business right from the first day he stepped his feet at the University of Ado Ekiti as an 100level student of Political Science.
The Ogun State born singer has released 3 medleys and 3 singles so far.
