Lagos Speaker Obasa, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dave Agboola, described Tinubu’s presidency as a source of renewed hope, applauding achievements in national security, economic progress, and grassroots empowerment.

He said the President’s policies have inspired transformation and instilled confidence in the future of Nigeria’s democratic experiment.

Reflecting on the significance of June 12, Obasa recalled the resilience of Nigerians in the struggle for democratic rule.

Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, and every one of us plays a vital role in its success. Your voice matters, your vote matters.

He stressed the need to keep the democratic spirit alive by participating fully in governance and civic duties. According to the Speaker, every citizen has a voice that can shape the future of their community and the nation at large.

With local government elections approaching in Lagos, Obasa appealed for support for all APC candidates, framing the polls as an opportunity to reinforce effective leadership and policy continuity.

He said electing competent representatives would secure progress in infrastructure, social services, and community development.

The Speaker highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in protecting Nigeria’s democratic legacy, urging Lagosians to back the Tinubu-led administration as it works to meet the aspirations of the people.
