His Excellency and former governor of Ogun State, Senator Otunba Engr Gbenga Daniel, who is also the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, joined the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for the annual Thanksgiving service dedicated to Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria.

The ceremony took place at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The distinguished gathering included notable personalities, and the event was graced by His Royal Highness, Oba (Prof) Matemilola, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, as well as Her Excellency, Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State.
The Odole O’dua, Sir Kensington Adebukonla Adebutu, added to the grandeur of the occasion, exemplifying the significance of the event.
Also in attendance were Hon. (Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu, Hon. (Prince) Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, and Otunba Segun Sowunmi, who contributed to the solemnity of the service.
The thanksgiving service, attended by prominent personalities, marked not only a spiritual gathering but also a demonstration of solidarity and appreciation for Chief Obasanjo’s contributions to the nation.
