Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on the people of Bayelsa State to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Timipre Sylva, to strengthen the state’s connection to the nation.

During his visit to Yenagoa for the grand finale of the APC governorship campaign, Shettima emphasized that President Bola Tinubu is prepared to work with Sylva to address youth unemployment and development in the state. He urged the people to vote overwhelmingly for Sylva to continue the positive initiatives he had initiated.

Shettima reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the overall development of the Niger Delta and other regions of the country. He said, “The people of Bayelsa should allow themselves to be connected to the centre. President Bola Tinubu will work closely with the incoming governor, Timipre Sylva, to address development challenges and youth unemployment.”

The National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, praised Sylva as a skilled technocrat and politician dedicated to transforming and redefining the political, economic, and developmental landscape of Bayelsa State.

The APC governorship candidate in Bayelsa State, Chief Sylva, highlighted his track record of excellence and commitment to service. He promised to transparently utilise the state’s resources when elected, ensuring that every part of the state would experience a transformation previously unimaginable.

Vice President Kashim Shettima has reiterated President Bola Tinubu’s commitment towards the overall development of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria as well as other parts of the country.

VP Shettima, who represented President Tinubu at the grand finale of the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial rally in Bayelsa State ahead of Saturday’s election, noted that Bayelsa State, like every other state in Nigeria, remains dear to the visions and developmental focus of the President Tinubu led administration.

The Vice President revealed that a wholistic plan for the development of the Niger Delta and all parts of Nigeria in terms of infrastructure, technological advancements, education and harnessing of the bountiful resources has not only been mapped out but is being gradually laid out.
