The Super Eagles striker produced a commanding first-half performance, scoring both goals as Galatasaray maintained their impressive European form.

Osimhen opened the scoring in just the third minute, firing home a precise right-footed shot from a Mario Lemina pass.

He doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute, capitalising on a defensive error by Fredrik André Bjørkan to slot in his second of the night.

Yunus Akgün extended the lead shortly after the restart with a cool finish in the 60th minute, before Andreas Helmersen pulled one back for the Norwegian side in the 74th minute.

The brace took Osimhen’s tally to 11 Champions League goals and marked his seventh consecutive European match with a goal, a record-breaking run for Galatasaray.

His relentless form continues to underline his reputation as one of the continent’s most clinical forwards.

The victory keeps Galatasaray firmly in contention in their group and extends their unbeaten run across all competitions.
