The atmosphere in Patey, Lagos Island is reportedly shrouded with tension after officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) stormed the area and shot sporadically at angry youths who tried to resist their search operations on Saturday according to reports reaching Freelanews.
Many youths have been feared dead following the massive shooting, with eyewitnesses and residents in the area expressing fear.
Meanwhile, videos capturing the scenes and showing the officials gunning down the youths have continued to make the rounds on social media.
According to reports the NDLEA officials almost turned the Patey area of Lagos Island to a war zone as sounds of gunshots made waves.
