The singer recently took to his Twitter handle to share a mini documentary of his grass to grace story with his many fans to inspire them and also market his new song.
“I will always Count my blessings!! Looking back at where I’m coming from, there’s just so much to be grateful of
“Make your you count your blessings everyday! 😊” he wrote.
However, instead of getting inspired, something else caught the fans’ attention; his police escort.
The bone of contention was when the police officer, whose rank was confirmed to be Inspector of Police, was seen opening the door for the artiste.
Many were miffed that such act is degrading to the Nigerian Police Force and should be nipped in the bud.
To Chris Bamidele, a tweet who tagged the police, officers shouldn’t be serving celebrities in this manner.
“This is part of what we are saying.
Why is a fully dressed police officer, bearing arms opening the car door for this guy? @BenHundeyin your men need to stop this.
“These celebs are not government elected or appointed officials. Your men shouldn’t be seen serving them this way,” Bamidele wrote.
However, Nigerian Police Force PRO, Prince Muyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to the video and promised that the officer would be disciplined for such unprofessional conduct.
“This is indeed unprofessional and ridiculous. The video will be sent to relevant offices and units to fish him out. We will stop some deployments or attachments asap. U can imagine him (guess an inspector of police), moving with and opening the door for him,” he said.
